With a sequel to the hit film “Mulana” in the works, Hollywood is gearing up for a second movie series based on the hit animated series “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.”
The upcoming Mighty Morphin Rangers movie series, which has been in development since 2009, will be released in 2019.
According to Variety, the movie series will be the first in a planned series based around the original Mighty Morphins movie franchise.
The series will focus on the Rangers’ origins, team building, and more.
According a report by the Hollywood Reporter, the film series will have the original cast, including actor Josh Gad, join the movie franchise in a series of live-action shorts.
“The Way” is based on a screenplay by Matt Furie.
In a press release, Warner Bros. said that the movie “Million Dollar Baby” will star “Power Rangers” actor Johnny Knoxville, who also will voice “Tales of the Mighty Morphine” character.
It is being produced by Legendary Pictures.
The “Milo” movie series has been a huge hit for Warner Bros., with more than $1 billion in box office sales.
“Mountain Men,” “Goliath,” and “The Return of Rocky” have all been part of the series.
